More high resolution pics and details of this mod can be found here (http://www.scifikg.com/pelican1500/pelican1500gallery.htm). I finished this about a week ago, but I have been field testing it just to make sure everything works right. What do you guys think?

That is some BEAUTIFUL work! Where did you get the blackplate? Take it from a regular case?

The backplate comes from a AOpen DeskTop mATX Case (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=11-130-122&catalog=7&manufactory=BROWSE&depa=1) . I picked it since it had a 350W power supply which is pretty good for a Micro ATX form factor.

I utilized the screw holes on the back of the LCD, and bolted it right to the lid
