apple cinama 27" LED........question

just looked at the 27" apple cinama.....wow very very nice, wondering can this baby hook upto a PC......and can it game good or does this got input Lag? :cool:

It's displayport, but apparently it works fine with PCs (as long as you have a DP graphics card of course!)

I would recommend the Dell U2711 over that though - not LED backlit but so many more options and a bit cheaper

i have the dell u2711....im getting to much input lag, dell is picking it up monday for acct back on my buisness acct with them.
im real disapointed abd saddened by this.....i was clicking around and not seeing the monitor move fast enough........im hoping the 27 cinama would do the trick?

Ive herad the same thing you where saying on dell u2711 , heard doesnt exist on aplle cuase of no osd or scaling takes place , if you purchase can you update this forum on how you like

well i sent my apple cinama display back to apple i hade dp400 atlona mini display port i have 5870 ati i could only goto 1024x768 max due to driver, i spoke wth atlona techs they know the problem, i didnt want to get GTX card, so i got "U2410" dell........its beautiful no problems at all from what you read, im lucky......if i go apple cinama display i will go apple pro desktop then get ACD 27"
right know ultrasharp 2410 very very very nice LCD same exactly as u 2711 but 24" for $499. they give you 3 year anything breaks warranty included in price ...i paid for overnight shipping 50. bucks aprox.
no input lag, no pink or green tint,very black 6ms, very good menu options,im almost in heaven.......merry christmas
just waiting for the new 6990 dual gpu ATI card

Oh no, i don't see anything wrong. Works perfect, im so glad to purchase it, i came from a samsung 2253BW so this change is amazing.
I love it jeje.
