its just a doubling of the original RevoDrive, so instead of slapping the equivalent of _two_ Vertex2 drives and a cheap silicone image raid controller onto a PCIe board, now you've got four. yay. and peak 740MBps sequential read for an array of four SF-1200 based drives? meh. two Crucial C300's in raid0 = 710MBps on a decent controller, which gets you within 5% of this RevoDrive X2's claimed peak sequential reads. certainly write performance on the revodrive x2 will outshine a couple crucials, but will be overshadowed by OCZ's high pricepoint.

personally i rather go with individual 2.5" drives than one expensive PCIe card with four drives lumped onto it, since they could be repurposed more easily later on.
