I've tried emailing BP and it keeps coming back. Anyone have a contact email for them for the support department? Or is their a rep here on the forum I can contact directly which would be even better.

lol

Wow where did those two sites come from. I was using:
Bitspower (http://www.bitspower.com/index.htm)

No wonder I kept getting a DNS it wasn't them or was them, but a defunct them or something.

Either way thanks I will try and contact them seeing about screws since they don't send both kinds with their rad grills.

Well I dropped them an email since I'm at a loss and have no idea where to get the rad grill screws in 6/32 thread. I've spent the last 5 hours looking all over the internet to never find the proper length. :-(
Maybe they stock them and just don't list them. I think its crappy they don't include both considering not everything is metric.

That's a very good question, maybe Mario finally got his hands on Vincent.

You could always go to "another sites forum";);) and start a "Where the eff is BP Customer Service?" tirade topic, that might draw him out of hiding.

What size screw are you looking for exactly?

I know you said 6-32 but what head style, length, color?

It's not crappy when you consider the cost of adding all the lenghts YOU or some other modder needs. Your a PC case watercooling guy. It's part of the adventure. Or you could buy a Dell. Sorry your having support problems, but I don't thinks it's BPs problem that the screws aren't the right lenght

You could buy long ones, buy a screw cutter with threads like the screw and a 6/32 die to clean up the threads. I did, worked fine.

Length isn't the problem with the bundled screws that BP sent. Its the fact they assume everyone has hardware which uses Metric threads.

I haven't seen long ones anywhere.

I have another thread up asking for help finding socket head screws.

Just looking for black either socket head or button. Although I think button would look better.
1/4 which I can get anywhere
1 3/8 for sure I may be able to go a bit longer going to half way assemble tonight minus bolting into the rad since I can't to see exactly how much thread is left sticking out the bottom so I know for sure what length I need.

Well 1 1/2 is too short it only comes to the edge of the fan. So the 1 3/8 are a must to clear the fan, grommet and install to the rad.

I would prefer button head over the standard socket head, but with allen for a clean profession looking install.

Although honestly do these grommets really do justice if you actually tighten down the fan? I don't recall after all these years of building computers ever hearing rattling or anything from a fan being fastened straight to metal.

So maybe I can do without the grommets and just do the plate/mesh/fan/rad.

On another note I wasn't aware that the surround on the outer plate of the BP rad grill was setup for installing into the top of a case. I should have noticed that when I ordered. So I may not even be using these BP rad grills due to that fact. I don't think I will be happy with the look to be honest.

Anyone looking for one that has red in their theme? The mesh has been powder coated red to match my build. Although anyone know if BP makes an individual rad grill in black for 120mm fans? I can only find 140mm. I would rather go that route I think. Maybe I can pull the mesh out of each and swap then I will have a fresh like new BP 480 rad grill for sale.

The more I think about the overhanging metal while I type this the more I'm really not liking how non clean its going to make the build look. :shakes:

Maybe I am misunderstanding you but if 1 1/2" is too short how is 1 3/8" going to work?

I read 1 1/2 and was thinking the 1 3/8 which came with the xspc rads. The 1 1/2 may be too long I can pick up a standard pair in silver phillips and test fit them to see how close to the fins they get. My bad I read what you typed and interpreted something else. LOL:shrug:

If 1 1/2 in the first screw you listed fits (I say that because home depot is full of every size you could think of in that cheap style screw) then the bottom screw you listed would be what I'm after.
