Can someone explain the whole Jersey joke with the new South Park episode?

I am trying to understand what they are making fun of so that I can watch that first in order to enjoy the south park episode better.
It is a lot more fun that way than trying to research it after seeing the episode! :up:

Oh man if you don't already regret not staying blissfully ignorant of the whole Jersey Shore debacle you will soon. And if these sad jokes must get any further exposure than they already do I guess I'm glad it's compliments of Matt and Trey.

Ok, now I'm gonna have to dl that SP episode..

I gotta admit, after seeing the SNL skits last year, I started watching jersey shore in media center (recorded) the 2nd season. The whole guido thing is quite hilarious. I'm sure I'll laugh at the SP episode too. I'll let you know after it's dl'ed and watched.
Jersey shore is a farce as far as reality tv goes, but it's funny as hell seeing the "guido" mentality. Even "Bones" did a episode based on it titled "maggots in the meathead". LOL!
