View Full Version : 3.3V mod for High Power hpc-300-202

Hi. Does anyone nkow how to mod this PSU to give me more than 3.3V? I just need to get more juice to my RAM but with 3.3v rail set as it is modding my mobo wouldnt do me no good.

I know I should get a new PSU but...:D

Seems to me that Chieftech uses these PSUs in some of their cases.

I did try the brown wire mod and got my volts up, no les than, whopping 0.01V !!! what should I try next?

OK. Now i made the mod using 20ohm resistor and 1K pot and it works just fine now.

the chieftec hpc 300-202 (or so) has pot's on the pcb?
see here the pics, its a 360er, but possibly same layout.

Thanks, I have that PSU :)
But no 3,3v, and that's what I want most. :(
