how do I stream divx from my PC to my xbox 360?
I have tried using media center but it tells me that it's unsupported connect or some crap like that

use tversity it will convert it and then stream it

I don't like TVersity. PS3 media server is way simpler. Install it and you're ready to go. The older versions didn't allow fastforwarding or rewinding, but the new one does. I don't know if TVersity has this feature or not...

Btw the only reason it's called PS3 media server is because it was originally made for the PS3 but it works for 360 as well.

You don't even have to set up a converter. Out of the box the Xbox is capable of decoding Divx (I do it on a daily basis). In Win 7 open my network places, right click on the icon for your Xbox 360 and allow media streaming to it. Then on the Xbox just go to video library and your computer should show up with the option to stream from that PC.

i thought that it dis not do divx in avi containers without the media patch. and the patch made it work better even if u dont need it

how would i have a linik, its an xbox install from xbl and so u cannot link it unless there is a jtag vershion but no cracked stuff on XS
just be logged into live and try and play a file it normally dose not like a divx avi
