EK Supreme HF Replacement Tops

Hello all,

I purchased an Acetal/Nickel EK Supreme HF a couple months ago, but I decided I wanted to change the top to an Acrylic version. I purchased this EK Acrylic Top (http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=59_410&products_id=29171) but I can't manage to get it to fit on my block. Do I need to purchase this Square Mounting Plate (http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=59_410&products_id=29157)?

I was under the impression that it would just fit :shakes:

I would have thought this is pretty self explanatory. A square top isn't going to fit when the mouting bracket is not square.

I don't know, I would have thought so too. But, I just want to confirm that all I need is the square mounting bracket, nothing else.

This is not the case :) The top the OP bought is the new version of the one you have on the right. You can see what I'm talking about because in the original HF you see the screws and so do you on the updated top, is just that it needs a different bracket.

After looking at the pictures again I don't see why the top shouldn't fit. It looks to me as if it goes over the screw holes or the original mounting bracket.
