So i am curious, could you run 1 CPU with a mild OC on it and 2 GPUS with a mild OC on it on 1 single loop. Lets say on a triple rad, low FPI . Basically the rig is for your everyday emailing, web browsing and a couple hours of gaming here and there. I mean yes i know its possible but do you think the TEMPS would be effecient? I dunno if anyone has this type of setup or has run one before. The cards are 2 GTX 460s oced and the CPU would be a 950 OCed from 3ghz to lets say 4.0 -4.2 ? Keep in mind i use my own thermal paste on everything so that right off the bat helps and i was thinking about maybe lapping the CPU? (If applicable) Some CPUs i heard you shouldnt lap as it might actually worsen temps etc. Ambient temps are always cool since i have a nice AC unit next to my desk :) which helps cool the comp etc.

Yes it's completely possible. I have my 940, board, and a 260 under a quad rad and temps never peak over 65º. I think a quality triple rad could handle them, any room for a 140.3? Maybe even a 120.4? I do suggest getting some good fans on a good fan controller. :)

Well the fans i use are the GTs and i use the Lamptron Controller FC5 i believe. The rad would be a 120.3 i think im leaning towards swiftech for a rad.

I use to run my QX9650 at 4.2Ghz, 2 x GTX285's (Full cover) and my MB blocks on a single Thermochill PA120.3 rad and the temps were good, not great, but good enough for gaming. I didn't crunch or do any super heavy computing with it, but it ran fine doing just what you were talking about.

Ya exactly , i wont be doing anything extreme or super crunching 24/7 etc.. Im just shooting for something thats gonna be effecient for me for daily use without going crazy lol.

3 Koolance VID-NX460 (about as restrictive as a GPU block comes I would think), a Swiftech GTZ, and 3 radiators all driven off a stock MCP355. Still get great temps. Although I would rather not know what kind of flow I get out of it.:p:

Im going to run a 120 x3 & 120 x2 SR-1`s with Enermax magmas with my 920 DO EK 4 way waterblock and 2 x EK 470 blocks in one loop.

Lowfat- lol gees how hav your 460s been doing underwater? I have my ek blocks for my 460s as well just waiting to slap them on ..

You sure can run all 3 on a single loop and a triple rad. I use a Coolermaster HAF X case, and put a Swiftech MCR320 radiator at the top. I'ts cooled by the 2 X 700 rpm 200mm top fans of the CM case, and underneath I put 3 X 1200 rpm 120mm fans. All those are virtually silent. This loop cools a I7 920 at 4ghz and two GTX 480 in SLI, which are also overclocked.

On a burn test, the CPU doesn't go past 58 degree, and both cards do not go above 52 in furmark. I'd say those a great temperatures for a single rad (albeit, with 5 fans on it, but all low rpm and silent). Ambient temperature here is around 23 degree for these results.

Great. I keep them @ 955/960/970 core w/ 1.162V. Average load temps around 50C.
