Thanks

If you can still see it, it's still working.

How long does it take for sliver to completely dissolve into water?

Thanks.
Do I need to pull it out and clean it or something ?
Also do I only need one coil for the entire loop?

One should be fine ... you don't need to clean it unless you've got a bunch of crud on it. If you're cleaning everything for normal maintenance, doesn't hurt to wipe it off - but it should be fine.

You shouldnt need to clean it unless you see that its covered in something other than black oxidation. That can happen over a long period of time and is natural, and really shouldnt have an effect over its use. But if you see a growth or sludge buildup (from an additive in the coolant) then yes, you should take it out and clean it.

How do you know unless you open the door :D

I'm pretty sure that the so called "vent" in the back is really a little door for the fridge-gnome to come running out of and trun off the light when the door is closed. So I have faith that he does his job, unless he died in there.

no need to open eyes, just put a hand in fridge for an hour and if you can still feel it afterwards, the light is probably off :ROTF:

Well, that would explain the terrible smell... and here I thought it was the two week-old left over chinese take-out. :D

See what I'm saying. I've tried to petition the FDA for years to step in and have those little guys removed from new refrigerators because they are so unsanitary. I dont even want to know where they go to the bathroom at. What were we talking about again? ^_^

I don't mind seeing a lady's knickers, I just don't want to see them for very long. ;)
