Enermax 550 watts power supply ATX Certified EG-651P-VE

Are they any good?

I am trying to find a Antec 550 True Power power supply, but I can't find any locally.

I want to put this in my new case with my new Asus P4T533 board.

What power supply do you think is better between the 2?

Thanks

Enermax is better quality, better wires, more connectors

Antec Tru has about 5 power connectors including the floppy. one is needed for the P4T533 mobo. so that leaves you 3 left for drives. This may be enough for your application.

The Enermax has higher guage waires, better fans, they take the time to use wire sleeves to keep wire bundles together. and gold contacts. Extra length power cables too.

Enermax is the better PSU

Last Antec 550 True power I purchased was missing screws and wires were tangled (untagleable without removing molex connector) during assembly. I have a full tower case and the power cables cannot reach the bottom of the case where I have 2x 120MM fans located.

Forgot the add, the Enermax has about 12 connectors. more than enough more applications.

Thanks Fugger.

Looks like the Enermax is the one then.

I'll pick it up tomorrow, I found it locally for $181 thats with tax.
Also thats Canadian dallors.

It's a little more then the Antec True Power 550w but it sounds worth it.

Thanks again
