So... here's a little something to get things moving... :stick: ;)

The first person to score 9500 or more will get a $25 Gift Certificate from NewEgg.com.

The catch... you have to share your system/card/driver specs with all of us... and I do mean share everything!!! ;)

As soon as you have a 9500 score, PM me with a valid FutureMark link and I'll email you details on claiming your prize. This last part is very important... PM ME ASAP IF YOU GET 9500 or MORE!!! After a couple Xtreme members verify the score, your prize will be sent to your email address for instant use by you. ;) (for those not in the US, an envelope with $25US will have to do... unless you can accept PayPal)

Good luck to everyone! :toast:

The A64 should be here within a week, and I'll hopefully be procuring a 2.4c also soon for the Intel class...then I'll take a stab at this lofty goal:)

Ok, the cutoff for this sub-competition is next Saturday, January 17th, at high noon(Eastern Standard Time, GMT-5). If no one has obtained 9500 by then the prize will just go towards something else related to the overall competition.

Come on people... push those cards... push 'em HARD!!! ;)

I'm going to give it a try tomorrow. First time I really give it a try.

Xabre is ready,
Prom is ready,
A64 is ready,

maybe tomorrow will be my lucky day :D

I dare say that combo should very well do it. Could you be the first to 10k? ;)

YoupY

Today wasn't my lucky day.

I missed 200 point for the 9k5 :(

I've had to many artefacts to get a high score. Maybe a little bit more voltage will do the trick, but I couldn't get more with the mods I have atm. Vgpu maxes out at 2.4V

Finaly it is done.

http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=7440470

Used some different clocks though:

test 1, 2 and 3
mem : 320
gpu : 260

Nature test:
mem : 310
gpu : 280

Nice one, and by quite some margin as well..

Will we see 10K from a Xabre.. I hope so..

saaya

youpy i think you got cofused about the clocks, the higher one is gpu and the lower one is memory ;)

i also confused them since the memory is the upper slide and not the lower like on all tweaking utilities. please check it, 320 memory would be really weird.

cool, you pretty much reached xabre 600 speed there youpy! the highest oc on a xabre gpu ive seen so far was 340/340 with a xabre600 and watercooling, so the core should oc higher with more volts and better cooling.

damn i have my final exams in 2-3 weeks :( after that i have a lot of free time to play with my pc though.

hope charly gets his card soon, really sad to see him as the only one without a card... :(

holst we will definately see 10K ;)

YoupY
01-12-2004, 12:45 PM
nope, I didn't confuse the clocks.

I ran memory higher than the gpu. That way I lost the artefacts and gained a lot of points :D

Score has the naturebug btw, so I don't know if this one counts for the 9k5 challenge

:stick: Oops, mistake, mem and gpu are turned the other way arround. I feel so stupid

I'm going to give it another try tomorrow, since I was sure I was oc-en the core, NOT

YoupY

This one is without the Nature bug

9605: http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=7444345

GPU upto 350 :D
mem @ 258

I got the prommy new from Space-Promotion in the Netherlands. There weren't any used ones available over here.

Some guys on the forum in holland (http://gathering.tweakers.net) were organizing a refill day where it was filled with R507 for me a few weeks after I got it.
