Hey,

XS Folks,

My crappy pump died not too long ago:p:
My Loop Spec:Dtek Fuzion V2,Swiftech MCR220 mounted on Radbox with 3x120mm(Yate Loon High Speed 2pcs and Panaflo Low Speed one pcs),Nirox P2800 Pump(1.8m hmax),1/2" Fitting all around,Swiftech Micro Res and generic 1/2" ID tubing

Hardware to cool is as in my signature
Some Question:
1.)How to remove oxidation and stain from my component? And there are a bit of algae growing on barb of which i am planning to throw it away
2.)Which UV Blue Dye does not stain tubing??
3.)My planned loop rebuild spec:Dtek Fuzion V2,Swiftech MCR220 mounted in case with Rad Grillz and 2 Yate Loon High Speed set as exhaust,EK DDP 4,Swiftech Micro Res,Duralene 3/8" Tubing,3/8" Fitting all around
4.)How is the pump i had choose??The main reason i choose is due to the rather tight budget i have and this one seem like a good contender

Any suggestion/advice is welcome
Thanks to XS here;)

Ketchup or really diluted vinegar

2.)Which UV Blue Dye does not stain tubing??

Not sure.

3.)My planned loop rebuild spec:Dtek Fuzion V2,Swiftech MCR220 mounted in case with Rad Grillz and 2 Yate Loon High Speed set as exhaust,EK DDP

Make sure you're doing an intake on the rad.

4,Swiftech Micro Res,Duralene 3/8" Tubing,3/8" Fitting all around

The MCP350 is great for your loop. The MCP355 or MCP655 will be a bit of an overkill.

Any suggestion/advice is welcome

He could get away easily with that pump which is used by Koolance, OCZ and EK for that loop.

What about DDP 4/CPX Pro??
Should be more then sufficient since my loop is housed inside a mid tower case so the tubing is relatively short:D

As I see, it costs ~60$. You could get whatever comes cheaper. That pump I linked would fit nicely, but if you plan on going more than $50,
get a MCP350.

I think i am going to try to get my hand on OCZ Hydropump 800 since it is less then US$50 and come with 2 sets of barb stock:D
That mean 2 less barb to buy which mean lower cost;)
Hmm...been thinking of getting Blue UV Tubing so i can get UV effect without the clogging issue, what do ya all think??Again, which Blue UV Tubing have good kink resistance and reasonable priced(3/8" ID)?:D

PrimoFlex Pro LRT.

Now I see you planned to buy EK pump. You could get that one too since it and OCZ pump are essentially the same thing.

And between 1/2" ID and 3/8" ID,how big is the difference??I think i might just go with 1/2" ID
Currently this project is still in planning stage as i am still gathering fund for it

Check Cathar test of tubing size impact in stickies.
It's too minimal (IIRC less then .2 gpm and less then degree of temps), so in general 1/2 is overrated and you'd be better off with 3/8"ID because of simplier tubing routing then with "fat sausages" of 1/2"ID, especially in cramped cases ..

Guess i will go with 3/8" tubing since i have space constrain
But the 1/2" ID tubing do look better:p:

Which UV Blue Dye does not stain tubing?
That one I've learned for my trolling, Clear uv blue, as its not a dye. It still can, as in its not 1000% impossible to, clog up a block, but that would (probably) be caused by using way too much, or pure unluck (<More likely the case).

rather use colored tubing with plain distilled water, using dye will almost ALWAYS stain your tubing and clog up your blocks!!
