Hey guys, I was wondering if its possible to 19k with what I have. Im guessing that the only way would be by modding my video card. I havent done any mods,I have just read a little about them and I think Im ready to start :). What mods do you think that would get me to 19k-20k? Im very good at soldering, I learned in the air force back in Argentina, so that shouldnt be a problem.

Also if I mod it, Im gonna need better cooling, what do you guys recommend? I have a koolance exos thats cooling my cpu, so I can hook up a gpu cooler...but I dont know what to get...

Thanks for taking the time to read this, any replies will be apretiated :toast:

Happy New Year!

let's see..

Windows 2000
Dx8.1b
Catalyst 3.5 drivers

now, you need to do the GPU and VDD mods at least for your video card, and if you can get your cpu speed higher somehow... 19 should be cake.

I used a standard CPU copper skivved HS w/60mm delta on my 9700p. Worked fine with 1.6v gpu @ 446MHz in 2003. I have yet to run '01 with it after the volt mods. My old score was 19,845 http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=7163995 with similar components.
What are your current VC clocks like BTW?
P.S. Nice Charger!

Dude some major windows tweaking maybe. I don't know. Your score is way lower than it should be I think. I got 18267 with the setting in my sig on windows xp pro. I have a tread here with the compare link if you don't believe me.

You're gonna need to do everything you can to get there i'm afraid. Test/log/test/log/test/log. Adjust everything.. review.. adjust-review. It's a real pain getting every last thing out of it. My card started out alot stronger than yours at 416/369 w/stock volts and modified cooling.
Good Luck.. I'm sure you can get there with some time put into it.
