Which 24 "LCD / LED display we recommend. I watched these two http://www.samsung.de/de/consumer/detail.aspx?aguid=7cd0690d-e8bc-4f90-9aa2-f42ef9789e8b and http://www.acer.co.uk/acer/productv.do?LanguageISOCtxParam=en&kcond61e.c2att101=65706&sp=page16e&ctx2.c2att1=17&link=ln438e&CountryISOCtxParam=UK&ctx1g.c2att92=174&ctx1.att21k=1&CRC=1340395150. Now I wonder if anyone has experience with the Acer name? Can you also recommend any other 24" !

Both of those panels are TN, which are OK for gaming I suppose, but if you want the best image quality and most accurate colors, then a H-IPS/S-IPS panel would be a better option.

One like this for instance (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824176104).

It's more expensive sure, but the image quality and viewing angles will definitely be superior compared to those TN panels.

look at the acer g245h Olympic edition http://wecravegames.com/forums/showthread.php?3259-LG-W2316V-Review-Ridiculously-Offensively-Ultimate-Gaming-Panel-Comparison-x9
you will see the acer beat the others display ( specially the samsung px2730).

while i would agree that an IPS is better, that one is a 12ms response and the HP ones like to ghost, if u want one for gaming/video go dell IMO, but if u are used to a TN then there is no point in an IPS for home use they are more for photo/video pro work or to ween people off of crt

I game just fine with my U2410 and have no ghosting to speak of at all.

I may be wrong but isn't a 10ms IPS monitor equal with a 2ms TN in terms of response. Again I may be wrong
