Unreal Tournament Help

I've been playing this game online lately and can't seem to be the best. I am ordering some new hardware to improve my success.
I am ordering a new Radeon 9800 AIW video card and
a new Motorola SB5100 Cable Modem. Those should help me.

My question is about gameplay.

Do you guys play using joystick or mouse.

Which mouse do you recommend?

Mouse and keyboard are the only way to go with this game. I just use a plain ole logitech optical mouse and wireless kb.

Mouse and keyboard are the only way to play. I ahve heard of people playing with joysticks, but that just seems wierd to me.

I also use a plain logitech optical mouse and a plain keyboard. Anything beyond that won't improve your game as much as practice will. By the way, which ut? UT 1 or ut2k3?

Joystick!!!! you'll get murdered. Just use what your comfortable with. I cant use anything but my microsoft explorer Version 1. Big MF.

tried the logitec. But Explorer mouse is so worn down and hair trigger, i cant switch. too hard.

Mouse and Keyboard, but definitely has to be a optical mouse. Nothing like having to turn to shoot someone and get stuck halfway through the turn;)
