Im gonna make a run to Radio Shack and beofre i go, i was wondering how many watts the resistors should have. There is like 1/4 watt and 1/2.....but i dont know which one to grab. So what is it?

at the voltage/current your working with in most all Vmods 1/4 watt is fine, and 1/2 will do as well, Wattage rating is really only important where a resistor will be heavily loaded with current, not the case for any Vmod I've seen...

Which one is preferred though?

They will both do exactly the same job. I guess get the 1/2 watt, since its rated a bit higher, who knows maybe you'll have a circuit in the future that it actually makes a difference on...

Agree with Karn, any vmod done on a motherbaord, vid card, or psu wont matter as far as wattage on the resistor is concerned.

Get the 1/2 watters if that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. :buddies:

Nah - get the quarter-watters. Smaller and hide better on the board.
