Iam looking to replace my 22" CRT but having problems finding a good monitor.

I thought about getting a 120hz LED but none can be found thats over 25"
Iam having problems finding a 16:10 aspect monitor.

16:9 looks like ass for anything besides playing movies. We bought a 24" dell for my children's school computer and I won't sit behind it.

I don't sit at wide viewing angles and I have a color correction Spyder3 pro setup so balancing the monitor isn't a problem thus TN panels might be an option.

Are there any 16:10 aspect , low input lag , fast response monitors on the market?

I really love my Dell U2410 24 inch IPS-H.
(I haven't even color calibrated it yet.) 6ms pixel, input lag is like 15ms in gaming mode and 30ms in high gamut mode.

They have a U2710 as well, though the input lag time is a little longer on this one.

I hate how expensive 16:10 monitors have become. It's like having those now are a rarity in the world of computers.

problem with a 16:9 is the screen looks stretched when not playing a movie.

secondly when playing a movie on a 16:10 you can have the menu bar below the screen instead of ontop of the content.

might look into the dell but I hope its 16:10 not 16:9 like my kids lcd

I looked at the asus which is nice but both have a large dot pitch but I guess anything that big will. Hans seems to have mixed reviews and ASUS i read had a blue tint too it. Maybe someone with one can comment.

Both good suggestions for TN panels

Sadly the U2711 model I was talking about... is 16:9
The 24 is 16:10

really the U2410 is big enough to get the job done but at $500-550 seems like alot for a monito that size.

Like to find a factory refrib for 300 but its not happening :( Thinking the 1920x1200 vs 2560x1440 or 1600 will keep my GPU cooler too.

but no way Iam going 16:9 looks strange and to give you an example a U2711 is 1/2" taller but 3.1" wider than a U2410

if I can find a U2410 around 300 I plan on buying it.

I can recommend my LCD Hazro HZ26Wi. IMO it's better than Dell.

Yes, 16:9 is useless.

Where can you get the Hazro in the US? I think NEC has some nice monitors too.
