Looks OK to me with one exception, I can recommend the Samsung S223 DVD/CD drives.
Mouse for gamer = Logitech MX 518, else good ol' Microsoft wheel mouse optical.
Keyboard for gamer = Saitek, else good ol' Microsoft standard

Thanks Yea i was looking at the MX518 and it seems to have pretty good reviews.

Do you think I should swop the 74GB WD for a 40GB SSD?

Also do you recommend i change the 2 5770's for a single 5780?

the 74GB raptor will not make a difference i would be that if u raid partition off 80-100GB from your array it will be faster.

i would go with 1 5850 over the 2x 5770, it will be easier to work with as u dont have multi gpu and it will have a longer usefull life span, sure now clock for clock the 2x5770 is faster but if u play high rez or dx11 the 5850 will win

and the cpu, the 1090 dose not clock better than the 1055 unless u go ln2 were u need the unlocked multi, both top out at 4.2 on air or liquid and your board will do good with HTT overclocks so u dont need to spend the extra money. but the 1090 is cooler

thanks for the input, i think im going to go with a single 5850, what brand do you suggest I go with? XFX seem a pretty popular choice or go with sapphire?? or another??

Is there an apparent difference between windows 7 Premium/Professional/Ultimate?

and what does OEM stand for?

An OEM part usually means it just doesn't come with all the fancy retail additional parts and packaging. Warranty is usually the same.

thanks :)

Also I was wondering if this memory http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/4GB-(2x2GB)-Corsair-Dominator-DDR3-PC3-12800-(1600)-CAS-8-8-8-24-New-Connector-DHX-BEMP-165V would be compatible with the ASUS IV Formula because this mobo says it supports DDR3 - 1600(OC)

what exactly does it mean by the OC?

it will work, u may not get 1600mhz with a 200mhz HTT core, as the 200:1600 multi on the ram is not always stable. the x6 i have seams to love ram at the 1:4. so it will work u just arnt guaranteed that clock on the platform will do it, as amd dose not spec that into the cpu but it can do it most of the time. it will post with the ram at jdec 1.5V cas9 and i would guess 1066mhz but then u change it in the bios for the proper settings, if u want to do 200mhz HTT core and it will not do 1:4 then u could just lower the timings to 7-7-7-18 or 6-6-6-18 i would be and that will perform the same if not better than 1600mhz 8-8-8-24 or u could just raise the HTT to 240 and it will do 1600mhz from the 200:1333 as that one always works
