*ignores specs listed*

I can't wait to see those fans tested.

In all seriousness, you just can't trust manufacturer specifications. All lot of bad purchases have been made because of deceiving specifications. So far, the only fans I've seen that get close to their manufacturer specifications are the Gentle Typhoons.

I'm reminded of looking over specs for a Thermaltake fan once that listed 70CFM at 16dBA. 40CFM at 11dBA isn't impossible, but doesn't seem likely, particularly at 900RPM.

Alexandr0s: I beleave Yate Loon also is rather strict when measuring specs of their fans .. as in measuring noise levels in special anaechoic isolated chamber and so on ..

Yeah, I was looking over those specs, and they seem pretty physically possible :D.

Looks like they're covering all the standard sizes, actually. Not sure about the metal frame - that can go either way where silence is concerned.

Yates, Deltas, Panaflo's, and Sanyo Denki's all tend to be fairly solid in their specs. And by coincidence, they all have strong OEM/server roots. But yeah, these numbers seem a little optimistic.

Well of course I never go by specs since every company needs a selling tool for the market :) .. I have seen a few people use the magma edition fans for their setups .. So I figured they were a decent type of fan . I would love someone to do a test in these ESP since they are 25 bucks a fan lol. You should get what you pay for right? :/

One would think. . .but then again, SilenX and NoiseBlockers are in the same price range and they both suck on rads.

Yes i mean a customer is spending 25 bucks PER fan, i would sure hope they hold up to their specs for sure but just seems too fairy tale to me unless someone has 1 already

They're quite cheap here in Germany, less than 8€ for the 120mm, but they're not available yet. I'll be getting one as soon as they're out though, I wonder how these compare to undervolted Noiseblocker/Be Quiet fans.

I bought one to try out, and it's very quiet, now will buy five more for a change out to a case I'm mod'ing

The thing that concerns me about these fans is that in the pictures they all appear to have the same size of hub, implying (but not necessary) that they may all have the same windings, which could mean that the larger fans, specifically the 140 may be under powered and, may perform worse than the smaller ones... an example of where this can happen is ThermalTake's TurboFan (http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/coolers/display/120-140-fans-roundup_25.html) where the 120mm fan produced better results for less power and noise than the 140mm... slapping the same windings across a different range of fan's isn't the way to go. I could be completely wrong, they may just have one casing with four different windings inside, but it would be interesting to see...

the tb silence looks good but a little too underpowered me thinks for cooling. i like the specs of the enermax appolish fans but i dont like the leds and the fact that theyre almost $35 a piece

Actually I thought that video was pretty good indicator of motor noise at least..

That enermax fan seems way overpriced for what it is....:(

When companies use strange names for the frame and bearing I tend to be more skeptical. Twister bearing? Carved halo frame? Really?

I switched out the Delta fan used for this cooler; Enzotech Extreme-X Rev.A Intel/AMD CPU Cooler, for the Enermax T.B. Silence 120mm, works very well at its rated speed.

I agree. With the *buzz* nano *buzz* magnetic design.
