Hello friends, some of you may remember me, most probably do not. Its been far too long since I logged in here. College and work have made my life very busy. Currently, my rig is far from xtreme too lol. I would just like to say hello to all of the new members and I look forward to catching up on the all bull:banana::banana::banana::banana: that gets thrown around here.

yes, i am looking into a few upgrades lol. Ive been off to college for the past two years and never brought my desktop, just had my laptop along. But not that Im home using my desktop again, I see the need to upgrade

You posted that in the nvidia section.

IMO, neither is a good option. Those are DX10 GPUs and spending that kind of money is a waste on something outdated.

5770 is about $150 usd and can be had for less used. It performs better than both those cards, runs cooler/uses less power, single slot, three monitors**, and DX11. For the price, I don't think there is anything on the market that beats the 5770 in price/perf/features.
