OH God. I feel sorry for mac users who actually know what they're doing because all PC users are going to think all mac users are like this guy.

Well the only game I've played through Steam so far is Braid. And it runs decently enough. Besides it and other indy games I'll likely just use my PC.

I love how he didn't check if his system met the requirements for portal before enduring the download and then continuing to blame it on steam.

I lol'd. This guy is a moron. Doesn't know how to stop steam from starting on boot....Its one little box "Start steam with (Os here) No (X) Yes( )" its really that easy.

And with the release of Steam for mac, suddenly a lot of mac users are going to realise how underpowered their machines really are compared to similarly priced PC's.

I wouldn't count on it.

Game developers suck and steam is crap :ROTF:

Yeah, they'll continue to blame Steam or anyone really except for their Mac. I'm not saying Steam doesn't have issues on the Mac...wouldn't know but it wouldn't be unreasonable for a fresh OS port.

Portal plays just fine on my i5 MBP...
Heavy activity, and two portals in view and it still hits the 60 fps limit.

Never had it crash, or any issues. Im going to blame all issues on old or slow hardware.

In my case this is untrue. I have the new 27" iMac and I cannot play any of the games with a decent frame rate even at 1280x720. Booted into Windows I can play all games at 1920x1080 Maxed at a constant 80-100FPS.
