Do you want a nice 42'' 1080p plasma?
Then go buy this one :)

Just got one for 740 bucks! WOO. Gotta love haggling.

Its superb. FORGET LED/LCD Plasma is the way to go.

She's just about broken in, got around 140 hrs on her.

Just bought a cheap magnavox bluray for now until i have the money to get my HT upgrade:

Oppo BDP-80
Onkyo Receiver (not sure on model yet)
Either SVS or Fluance 5.1 speakers
Either a Infinity PS212 sub, or a H100 Premier Acoustic PA120 sub
Gonna grab all the wiring from monoprice as well

For the money you simply can't beat it. Games and movies will look much better on that screen than any LCD you can buy at that price, or any price.

Personally I went with a 65" DLP, but I wouldn't rule out Plasma next time. Nothing could touch the price of my DLP at the time, though, and lower power consumption at that size.

I'd recommend a Denon receiver instead - they are top notch and you get the full Audyssey features.

Go with SVS for the sub. They make good speakers too, but I went with Infinity Primus P362s for the front and their big PC350 center. I have the new SVS SSS-01 Bipole surrounds though.

Good luck!
