Hi,

I'm currently saving money to make a wooden case and change my config. I would like to have a watercooling system for my motherboard. I already found my mosfets cooler, koolance mvr-40, but I'm having a problem with the "northbridge" chip cooler. There are no northbridge but there is a cooler at this place. I found a picture and there are a few voltage regulator and a few other things.

I thought I could use a Swiftech MCW 30 and make an copper plate that could cover the needed compenents if the MCW30 can't hold them. I have access to a milling machine.

I want my computer to look nice because there won't be any side windows, it will be more like a wooden open air computer case. I don't want to let a "hole" with no cooling on the "northbridge". It's more an aesthetics reason than practical.

Here is a pics of the MB.

What do you suggest?

The P55 (aka SB) just doesn't get hot, which is probably the reason why it's hard to find a cooler for it. I would just leave the heatsink on there.

Thank you for the info :yepp:

But I wanted to watercool it even if it doesn't need to. I was more talking about cooling this part:

I don't want to let it naked or with the standard heatsink.

I'm not sure if anything will actually work for that. Just get some enzotech copper coolers, and stick them on.
If anything else it will be an improvement.
