I was looking at my faterhs' PC in HK. I believe it was a P3 866 (or 833 Mhz) but it was running at 1.8X V Vcore?? Is that the spec Intel uses back then??
thanks,

If my memory serves, the 866MHz P3 processors were using 1.65-1.75v, depending on the FC-PGA package. They had an absolute max of 2.1v though, instead of the 1.7v of the P4s today.

Cool. I was shocked to see 1.8V when I was messing around...

Weird... My 733 only need 1.65 even at 825mhz... I wouldn't be surprised if you could lower it from 1.8v but I guess if it runs it runs..
