Hi, I was just wondering as milkyway@home runs through BOINC will my WCG account get any credits for running it? (just with the xtreme supercomputer week) ty

You only get credit for WCG if you run WCG. Boinc is just a front end for many different projects but all give credit for there own not each others.

WCG is a bit of an oddity among the BOINC-supporting projects. They started out counting your work with WCG points and then counted, double-duty, those (new) WCG points as BOINC points at a 7:1 ratio respectively. They swapped clients a few years ago when they started to support the BOINC client, dropping their proprietary WCG client. If you do choose to run MW@H, you'll want to run it GPU-only [and preferably on an ATI GPU; HD38x0, 4(6/7/8)x0, 5(5/6/7/8/9)x0].
