EK-DDC X-RES 100 bleeding problem?

I'm thinking of getting this reservoir top combo, but read on an old thread about not being able to bleed properly?
Anyone currently using this res? how do you like it?

I own one though it's not currently in use. If your flow is fast enough, there is a problem bleeding them. One way to fix this is to add a course aquarium sponge filter to the res. Another is to add a fitting to the top and a short section of tubing and slightly over fill the res into the tubing.

I'm using it and you must use it with the x-res anti-cyclone.
It's fine and can filter out most of the bubbles.
