I'm looking for some cheap banana plugs for my speakers to hook up to my receiver. I don't want expensive ones, something that would cost 30-40 bucks for a whole set of them. Any ideas? :)

I went with the closed screw type.

QFT! More snake oil dispelled or busted! I saw some place trying to sell one set or 4 plugs for $59.95 LOL!

Awesome, pretty much what I was looking for =-) Now i'm deciding whether or not so solder the wire in, i think ill just screw them in... that way if i ever need to change the lengths, i can easily do so.

Highly recommend soldering them in Nano. The screw breaks allot of wires, or at least mine did.

That depends, if you're constantly messing with your wiring, then solder them. If you setting it up and not doing else else, solder is over-kill. Soldering is OK since they so cheap just cut them off and do more so no biggie either way.

It isn't quite so cheap, especially since I'll need about 28 plugs, but I can always resolder them though...I'll see how sturdy the bare wires are, then I can always solder them later. :)

I said that because I NEVER solder banana plugs. I'm using two receivers, and 8 speakers needing 28 plugs, powered sub uses RCA. On things I need to move or mess with, I use 1/4" mono or stereo Jacks, like for the extra speakers for my Bass in the Den.
