well I got back my RMA from BFG and instead of another 8800GT they sent me a GTX260 maxcore 55nm.

What's a good wb for it? I'm a bit worried because on PPC the EK wb for the gtx260 says it is not compatible with the new vs of the PCB and I'm sure I have a new one. any ideas or which block I should get?

According to EK website's compatibility chart if you have the BFG Tech GeForce GTX 260 BFGEGTX260MC896OCDE you can use their EK-FC275 GTX PCB, you can check for yourself http://www.coolingconfigurator.com/home or you can go with swiftech GTX200 heatsink and mcw60 gpu block, but check on that 1st. I'm not 100% sure.

NK, you don't like ful covers bcs they never fit right? what you mean by air heatsink? the swiftech or D-Tek combo? I'm a noob to WC but from what I read here, some ppl had eral problems and breaking their cards with full covers.
