Hi guy's,

finally my pump arrived after rma. Damn these temps are realy low is this normal with watercooling? And its my first wc rig buy the way.
pictures of my rig: see post #2292

http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=233842&page=92

Here are my specs:
Core i7 920 (stock)
EVGA x58 sli le
EVGA GTX260 SC
Intel ssd 80gb
WD black 500gb

WC:
Heatkiller 3.0 nickel plated
EK-gtx275 waterblock
XSPC 480 rad
Swiftech res rev2
Noiseblocker fans 1500rpm
Aquastream xt pump

temps before:
Idle 45 to 47c with crappy intel stock heatsink ram runs at 1600mhz cpu=stock speed
default setting ram at 1066mhz idle temps 32 to 35c huge drop in temps when i used default settings of the ram.

And now with wc
Idle 19c
gpu 32c

Are these normal temps with wc i checked everything using temprature monitoring on the motherboard itself via a little screen. And using everest ultimate both give 19c. Il test my rig with some stress programs like prime etc later this week.

What is your ambient temperature? 19C seems very low!

I would check core temperature with CoreTemp or RealTemp!

I assume that 19C CPU is what you see in ELEET?

Download Real Temp and tell us what your core temps are.

So far i tested with eleet that little screen on the motherboard wich tells me 19 to 20c

Everest Ultimate edition monitoring software i assume this program is relaible? Because both the bios and eleet show me the same temps as in Everest wich tells me also 19 to 20c.
So i have 3 ways to check the temps all of them telling me the same temps.

And in bios health i also see 19 to 21c

Ambient temps its spring now i realy dont know the ambient temps besides all windows are closed in my room.

il check those other monitoring software progtrams later this week.

Here is a screen shot with both the programs:

Never ever trust the Mobo software or fancy measuring devices.

Realtemp
CoreTemp
HW Monitor

Nuff said.

Thanks for the reply's,

So are the temps alright as shown in the pic above?

Where do people look at is it the cpu with 19c on everest ultimate i also see the core 1 to 4 temps wich yield higher temps.

and the real temp shows other temps.

So if i'm right the temps shown in the bios (19 to 20c)
And in eleet 20c
And everest ultimate (19 to 20c) are not relaible?

Thanks in advance

Use realTemp. Calibrate it. No way can you have 20C core temps unless your room temps are 15C or lower.

You're core temps look okay - good, in fact. The CPU temp looks a bit on the low side (what is your ambient temp?) - most people refer to the Core temps when talking about temps.

Real Temp is reading the temperature of the cores, which you'll notice matches that of the core temps listed in everest. 19C for the cpu sounds a bit low even for water, but my 930 at 1.3v only gets to 47C (cores are pushing 70C though) on air under full load on a cool night.

Yes RealTemp is the real temperature of your CPU cores. It shows you're idling around 30-34C which is rather normal for a stock idling i7, with your kind of cooling power. I suppose your room ambient is 18-20C...

Sometimes if you use a lot of thermal paste and use a type that cures, such as Arctic Silver, I have noticed some low Tcase (The general CPU temp) numbers. I have a theory that solvent evaporation is to blame... the number comes around to something saner after a bit.

Thanks for the reply's,

Ok now i know where to look for real temps of my cpu.
Whats "good" normal temps for a core i7 on watercooling with realtemp, coretemp?
