I wanted to start a thread concerning Monitor arms. Please post any pictures you have of modded and aftermarket vesa stands / monitor arms.

If we can have Xtreme case mods, we might as well have the same for monitors. :D

This is a really old picture, but it shows my arm. It's a 4 mount Ves 100mm or 75mm mount, but I took off the second set of arms, and still have yet to get a second monitor.

Looking for a 3x monitor stand that will ideally do landscape or portrait rotations for 16:9 monitors in the 19"-22" range. Any suggestions?

Okay! It's not really a new Ergotron DSX100 Tri-Heavy Duty Wall Mount, I just made that up and I couldn't recessed. It has how ever some components from a Ergotron DS100. The arm that holds the monitors to be exact.

The actual wall mount was a X-Mas present I got last year. I was going to use it to mount my 46" flat screen but never got around to putting it up, so it sat in the corner for a few months. At the time I was already using the Ergotron DS100 Tri-Stand which I modded to fit all three 24" monitors and that turned out pretty cool too.

Long story short...I modified both the wall mount and the Ergotron arm and came out with this. I have to say that this combo (for me) looks and feels so solid and has a very wide range of movement.

I hope you like them as much as I do and if you have any Q's don't hesitate.
