I've been out of the loop for 3 yers or so and a lot has changed it seems.
This what I'm planning to get.

D5 swifty pump
120.3 feser x-change rad
heatkiller 3.0 CPU block (amd)
primochill tubing
bitspower Compression fittings

those items I'm pretty sure about. What I'm undecided on is the res and gpu block and if I'm going to stick with my old panaflow fans or not.

I was looking at the primochill res that's round and fits in a 120mm fan slot. Anyone have any experience with it? I'll get a link when I get home as I'm at work currently posting from my phone :(
As for the gpu block it will need to fit a 5850.

The case I'm using is a lian li v2000b.
Other parts are
amd 965 xII be
asus crosshair 3

for the pump get the DDC 3.25 with XSPC combo top(Reservoir and top),or getting the EK top and an EK multi option or iandh Stealth reservoir
for the water block EK supreme HF is better and if you don't believe me i can link you to the test made by Vapor from skinnee labs
feser radiator is a good choice another cheaper alternative which is as good as the feser is the XSPC,i think that the 360 radiator is enough snce the 965 and 5850 run cool
for the GPU block the EK are the best for the 5850

Thanks for your suggestions. I really like that pump/res combo from xspc.

I'm going to read those reviews on the blocks later when I get home. Not saying I don't believe you I just need to catch up on what's what.

I can fit a 120.4 into this case if it would be better and more future proof. It's just going to take a little more creativity modding wise. There are also several spots I can easily stick a extra 120.1 if I needed it later.

Actually getting 120.4 is a better idea and it will be future proof here is the EK Supreme HF waterblock comparison http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=247072

Looks like there are several options for the EK blocks. I like the acrylic or is it better to get the nickel or full copper? I wouldn't expect it to make much of a difference.

I think I'm going to go with a thermochill rad since I'm getting the 120.4 and try and save a few $$

What do most people use for fans these days? I have 4 pretty nice panaflows left from my old dual 120.2 setup but if there is a much better fan to get I'd give it a thought.

the EK top is a matter of preference only ,the fans people use for rads like the thermochill are the Gentle Typhoons 1450 or 1850 RPMs they are the most commonly used fans now

I would like to add that yes, most use gentle typhoons 1450/1850, but usually downvolted at ~ 1000-1100rpm. Those max 1450/1850 usually goes as extra performance reserve, when extra "oomph" is needed :)

So the GT's are the fans that most use now.. why, just because they are the best combination of sound and CFM. Back when I bought my Radiator fans I got Yate Loon only cuz I didn't wanna spend extra on the S-Flex. Are S-Flex still good or are GT's just that much better. (don't mean to thread hijack but figured you'd benifit from my question also) or are the GT's basically what replaces the S-Flex as the best radiator fan

I'm thinking of ditching my somewhat loud Yate Loon Medium fans (3) and getting the slightly slower 1450rpm GT's but do Push/pull and get 6

Yate Loons are almost as good as GT airflow/noise wise. They have one thing even better - they cost less, way less. But one thing worse - unlike GTs they are sleeve bearing, so have less life when used horizontally. Anyway, best budget fan choice.
