ive been wanting to watercooler my coolermaster elite 340, im going to be using the following peices below. you guys think that will enough to cool a amd x3 440?

id love to add the x2 into the loop but i dont think that 2 120mm rads would be enough for the cpu and rad

im sorry that i offended you but your lucky i resized otherwise they'ed 3264x2248, to be honest your the first to complain. i find a pic's to tell more than words.

Generally it's good form to resize pics to 1024*768, or clickable thumbnails, but it's also generally good form to ask slightly more politely.

The radiator will be fine for an X3, as will the block and pump, but you're bare-minimum-ing it at the moment - the Apogee GT is quite an old block, and doesn't cool as well on modern chips, and a single 120mm radiator won't be of much use if, for example, you upgraded to an Intel setup or swapped in one of the more powerful AM3 chips. I'd also invest in an aftermarket top for the pump, you'll see quite an increase in performance as well as being able to use 1/2" fittings rather than the cast 3/8" barbs.

Everyone has to start somewhere. That will be fine to get you going :).

Ignore that outburst a couple of posts above, not everyone can drop 1000s on hardware, but all are welcome here.

well most other forums i visit turn my pic post into thumbnails and i have been looking at getting a top, i have very limited funds to do this with. ive spent cost to 80 bucks so far i have about 50 more i can spend.

ok im going to be picked up a ek top some dd barbs, ive been thinking of getting a xspc rs rad and added it to the loop to help cool things down.

i also ended up not using swiftech block. i picked a xspc delta v3 from petras.

it works out great. with my 5000+ at 3.7 load is less than 40C
