I am looking to buy a new monitor for my PC use / Xbox use.
I need to have a high resolution 1920x1200 would be good and 30" or higher if for PC use and 37" if for xbox use. Either/or the monitor has to have DVI/VGA/HDMI. Please help me as I need to replace my hans-g 28".

Well if you can afford the high costs.... the Dell 3008WFP is your best bet out there.

Or if you're looking for something smaller. Dell U2410 or U2711

Yup the 3008 is a *great* monitor for 1080P viewing....

Sadly it has a touch more input lag (http://www.digitalversus.com/duels.php?ty=6&ma1=88&mo1=413&p1=3936&ma2=50&mo2=715&p2=8127&ph=1)for gaming than I would like...

Panasonic 32-37" HDTV 1920 x 1080p
Alpha-IPS panel
Almost 0 input lag
Inexpensive :)

Numbers...numbers....numbers. You can't even notice the lag when you are using it. After using an IPS panel you simply can't look back at a TN

Well finally, I went with Samsung - 40" Class / 1080p / 120Hz / LCD HDTV - LN40C630K1F. I am very happy with it and the gaming is super.

the samsung tv in my signature, is probably the most amazing monitor i have ever had. its colors are so dang accurate after adjustments. but, i would suggest a samsung or alienware 120hz monitor. but yeah, samsung is always the way to go.

In the age of $700 32" 1080p Samsung LCD/LED HDTV's, I can't fathom the relevance of $300/$400 monitors, or, for that matter, 30" monitors. Do want OLED for the next upgrade. I'll modify everything in this room for 3x32" OLED TV's, if my assumptions are correct with their much lower power consumption.
