Hi everybody !
A few weeks ago, i got a broken laptop from my uncle, which is not covered by the warranty anymore.
The laptop is a FZ250, and i have sold a few parts from it.
But since no one needs the screen, i want to take it my self and make a second monitor out of it. :yepp:
I know its crazy, and maybe dangerous, but i belive it is possible :D
I have allready stripped down the laptop, and the screen itself has 2 connectors, one that goes to an current inversor, and from the inversor 2 cables to the screen. And there is another connector (for signal) which is a flat cable with about 19-20 pins per side, a total of 38-40 connectors, they are damm small and its very hard to count them.
But then the cable, becomes sort of a ribbon cable with 11 wires (exact), 4 pairs of yellow blue cables, and the 3 last ones are, pink, redish orange and black.
Now i would like to know if someone has the pin out for this cables, and how they go connected to a DVI or VGA port.
For the other side, how should i feed the screen, using the inversor and a direct current supply, or take out the inversor and use straight alternate current, whats the voltage for this type of screens?
All help is very welcome
