My primary card is an ATI 5870, but the card is defective, so I need to RMA it. In the meantime I need to buy a temporary card, and thinking of having a dedicated PhysX card, I'm debating which one of these options offers the best deal for price/performance(Prices are in Canadian currency):

Asus EN9800GT/DI/512MD3 nVidia GeForce 9800GT Chipset (600Mhz) 512MB (900Mhz) DDR3 DVI/HDMI/VGA PCI-Express 2.0 Graphics Card

Everyday Low Price: $117.99
Promotional Cash Price: $114.99
Instant Savings: -$5.00
Mail-in-Rebate: -$20.00

Which one should I buy? Does it make much of a difference, as far as PhysX performance is concerned, to have 1gig versus 512mg and/or DDR3 versus DDR5?

Thanks in advance!

I think you only need 256MB of VRAM for PhysX.
