I just purchased everything for my first build which happens to be water cooled and decided on PC Ice after all my research. Well I bought and received 2 of them and injected the blue dye in each of the two. Its been about 3 days and one is super clear (how its supposed to be) and the other is foggy and looks like there as if there is something floating in there. I did the exact same thing to both bottles so im not sure what caused it.

Here is a picture with a light behind both bottles. The one on the left is the bad one. Im a little weary to use it becasue im not sure if it will build up in my fittings/blocks.

Thanks,
Mike

And I would highly recommend distilled + PT nuke. Instead of using that stuff.

Don't use it. Personally i wouldn't use either and just get distilled water.

Yeah i went with distilled and ptnuke. Cheaper and like they say works better in long run from what I have read.

I got distilled water from walmart for 85 cents and ptnuke is like 8 bucks or somethign.

Sounds like I need to make a change in what im going to use as the coolant. Where would I pick up some ptnuke at online?

I use the silver, but the PT Nuke works as well.

Umm, don't use either bottle. Instead use distilled water & some drops of PT Nuke, or get a piece of silver and put that in there. Silver kills microbes (and werewolves too).

Now, I don't know what you are going to do with that unused PC Ice crapola though, because you can't drink it, and you probably shouldn't pour it down the sink or the toilet, and you can't dump it in the back yard. I can't tell what's in it, but probably distilled water, phosphates and alcohol, and some other "miracle" ingredients that are poisonous, but better to be safe than sorry, take it to a recycling center, and don't pollute your local water table.

Im gonna try and see if I can RMA them. If not I will probably just send them to Primochill office and say they can have them back.

Damn that would have been funny! Have a old radio or something in there too just for added effect.

Had a similar problem with 2 bottles of the green stuff, applied for RMA and Brian sent me 2 brandnew clear bottles which have been running fine in my system ever since.

Mine looked like it had little flakes in them, heres a pic:

Other than the this problem here, what other disadvantages does PC Ice have? I have only read good reviews about it so far so im kinda confused.

Would not happen to be sponsored articles would it? Some negligible reviewers will sell their soul for free hardware and heck some for a couple bottles of this junk. This stuff will stain your tubes and res over time and clog your rad and blocks.

it has a possessive of looking nice at 1st and lenghtening the time it takes aluminum to kill copper parts for a short time but the downsides are that it is not as thermally conductive as pure water, it gets clogged in micro pin blocks, it degrades over time and forms a film and its expensive.

Yep, made the mistake of buying a bottle of PC Ice once, never again. The same thing happened to my bottle. Distilled water FTW.
