Hello folks. I am hoping you guys/gals can give me some info here. I have a GTX 260 and have the XSPC block on it. Question is can I mount it on a 285 or is it a no go completely? I thought that it fit the 280 as well but could be wrong, also I've been reading that different revisions of cards makes a difference. Any insight on that at all?

Thanks for taking the time to read this and any input is Highly appreciated.

Hi, although the block might possibly fit a 280, I'm positive it doesn't on either of the two major PCB revisions of the 285, which by the way are different enough from one another to require a specific FC block.

Thanks for the info! I searched here and elsewhere and came up with nothing exact. Have a great day..

With the GTX 260, you have to know whether it's the 65nm or 55nm core revision. Apparently they're not cross-compatible in terms of HSF/WB mounting holes.

Thanks! Pretty sure I have the 65nm as its a fairly old MSI 192. Guess I'll need to fork out some coin for a new block if I decide to upgrade the vid. Thanks again!

Sadly you have to buy a new block :(
