I found the solution here: (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showpost.php?p=4293003&postcount=17)

No, get the lastest BOINC version that Poppa gave you. When you install it, DO NOT check the "Protected Application Execution" button, that's the thing that makes it go "no Nvidia GPU."

But I need that enabled for WCG :/

Why so? That doesn't affect WCG running on the CPU... It just means you can't hide it from the user...

But if you have permission to run it on the hardware, that shouldn't be a problem. ;)

I'm going by the getting started guide in the WCG section, in that case I'll turn it off. But will it run before a user logs on? I want to be guarateed that my PC will be crunching should it BSOD while I'm at work, I don't want to get home to a PC that's sitting idle waiting for a password :/

How does it hide anything? The icon is still on the taskbar and it still shows in Task Manager

Not to worry though, my PSU switches off as soon as anything stressful on the graphics card happens, be it a game or crunching.
