Having a strange issue that i never had before.
When the 8800gt is installed, it takes a good 15 seconds before the splash page even shows up. Delays the bootup of the system for 15 seconds.
Then it freezes at the XP logo screen usually.
Safe mode is fine, went in stripped out drivers, (185.10's) driver cleaner ran and rebooted fine into regular windows. Try to install a newer or older driver and all I get is a black screen (doesnt loose signal) and a blinking line in the upper left like a command prompt.
Funny thing is there are 2 cards and the other cards has no problems at all so something is wrong with this one. Any thoughts on what to try? popped the cooler off and retimmed already.
Any suggestions?
