Yesterday when I got home I fired up the PC and literally "fired up" :shakes: Any ideas on how this could've happened? The night before I was playing Aliens vs. Predator and everything was fine.

Mobo is dead too, wont boot with any VGA :(

The video card was 100% stock, does BFG Tech warranty covers this?

They should. MSI did when a similar thing happened to my newly-RMA'd GTX 260. Sparks literally shot out of it until I yanked the power cable. Glad my side panel was off. Did get a GTX 280 after that though (and had traded a 4870 for the 260).

What's that bright "stripe" thing on the board?

On first loook I don;t see any "exploded cap" or anything, where did the burn come from?

That stripe is copper, it came out from the PCB and where the burn came from.

That happened to me once also but with a MSI 5700 Ultra the ribbon melted the PCB and came out. I tried to get it fixed under warranty but MSI did not do much :(

Ouch, I feel sorry for you and can sympathise, BFG should cover it, however seeing as you removed the cooler they might get difficult about it as that "voids" their terms. Unlike eVGA you cannot remove the HSF from BFG products without voiding the warranty.
Even if you do everything by the book, BFG can be difficult as I myself found out and ranted about here (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=243291)
I wish you luck, just stick at when dealing with them and do not take no for an answer.
