already posted in WCG but wanted to make sure we have full coverage ...
New versions of BOINC Manager 6.10.30+ have a setting that will temporarily suspend boinc if non-boinc cpu usage goes over 25% :shakes:
Most projects, including WCG have not updated their websites to add this Preference which by default it is turned on during install. I have not seen a config setting for this so for now I think the only way to control this is through "Local Preferences" inside BOINC Manager itself. To turn this *feature* off completely set it to 0.
