Where Are All the EK 5870 nickel/plexi Blocks

:confused: I'm starting my build soon, and i'm going to use an ATI HD-5870. However, I also need the EK Nickel-Plexi waterblock for it, but every online store I go to seems to be out of stock. Is it still in production, or are they no longer available?? :confused:

At least provide evidence before you throw such an accusation at a company like EK. I've got a nickle-plated 5870 block with the clear acrylic top and have had 0 issues (been running it since October).

We haventdropped them out of production at all.
Still very much selling and no probelms with them.

well non of the e-tailers i can find (except for EK's own site), have it in stock

Looks like it's in stock at Perf. PC's, per your link you provided. I even added one to a cart, checked shipping on it, started checkout, no problems....seems in stock.

NCIX has stock coming soon, and we had stock last week. Just sold out of them.

I suspect it's just a random case of "everyone is between shipments at the same time".

The blocks got much more popular all of a sudden as supply loosened up on the 5800 series cards.
