im gong to buy a pc70 case for the sheer amount of space it provides. i cant seem to find aquarium panels for this case though, only for the smaller ones... do they exist?

your talking about a side with a window right.... either go with a Lian-Li PC75 or go to www.monarchcomputer.com they sell just the side panel.

not a window- an aquarium, that holds water and fish.

that would look mighty in the pc70 case:)

I don't think Lian-Li has a Window Aquarium Kit for the PC7x Full Tower series, just one for their mid-tower's. It's not actual fish, just air bubbles blowing on plastic fishies, though you already know that :)

yeah, but if its got an air pump, i can put real fish in it. with some modifications, of course. maily a filter. but it would be completely possible.

jeez, please don't. - i'm no treehugger, but that just doesn't sound right.
what about all the lights in your case or just the electricity and all. might end up growing three-eyed fishies in there (simpsons' style...). i'd rather stick with them plastic fishies...

i really dont think a constant light will harm the fish. a strobing light perhaps. but i dont think it emits radiation or anything, or else i'd have a third arm or something instead.

The vibrations and noise from fans and disks would kill the fish which have very sensitive hearing.

ok ok ok ok.... being soem one with umm i dont know, 200 fish currently i feel i am soemwhat of a decent opinion:

if the water parameters stay healthy, if there is a light cycle (darkness) for 6 hours a day, if they get fed, if the fish can "turn around" in it. its good enough. how many idiots keep betas in little cups and glasses? is that cool? no.. is it ok? sure...

i say go for it... if its just a couple lil minos or guppies, and u have gravel at the bottom, and an air pump.. thats all the filtration they need. gravel is all the filtration small fish need for biological, and a lil water change every 2 weeks is fine. keep the feeding down to what is consumed imediatly of course.,.... do it... i want to see pics!!

alright... plastic fish will suffice! i had no idea this would turn into such an aquatic debate, haha. im still wondering if an aquarium panel exists somewhere, or if its in the works.

you can do something like this:
http://nobispro.com/aquatank/final_images/iso_off.jpg
http://nobispro.com/aquatank/final_images/front_full.jpg
http://nobispro.com/aquatank/final_images/side_window_fish.jpg

http://nobispro.com/aquatank/

you can then use the fish tank as a reservoir for water cooling, just don't tell any hippies
