So, in the last couple of years a lot of games have come out that I simply have no interest in, or not enough to bother to play, let alone upgrade any of my hardware for. Long story short, I'm still on a Phenom 9950, DDR2 800 and an HD3870X2. Recently, I replaced an HD3650 with an HD4200 when I got a new motherboard for the other machine. It is now a lot quieter *hurray*

I'd like to do a similar switch-up on this machine using my onboard HD3300 instead of the HD3870X2 for the sake of less noise, heat, power, etc. The only problem is my motherboard doesn't have an s-video out jack on the back, nor any pin header for a dongle.

Looking on Google gives threads like this (http://www.overclockers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=611373) (so I'm not expecting miracles from you guys :)) which are virtually useless.

So, short of buying an HDTV & HDMI cable, what can I do to get my TV in the other room (really long s-video & S/PDIF cables) working with the HD3300? Any suggestions at all? I'd like this to be as cheap as humanly possible :)

Also, I just threw the HD3650 in this machine as a stop-gap solution.
