All,
I'm afraid my name may have meaning!! I set up my new unlocked xp2200 and gb ga7vrxp, 512mb pc 3200 into my existing case.
I started it up and it did the usual burps and hiccups, detecting new hardware...I modded bios settings, It booted at 550mhz, I adjusted the pinswitches to 10.5 @ 100, when I set the bios to 133, and hit enter to reset and restart, black screen, won't reboot, nothing black screen, fans run, etc black screen. Monitor says "no signal" Oddly enough the bios temp always said between 70-110C and I knew this was impossible!!! Or was it??
Even at default values and 550mhz, 75C degrees!! I pulled the mobo/cpu and ram and replaced it with my trusty ole pIII 450 and wala here I'm online working...Did i fry my CPU??? And why???????Please help!!!!!!!!!!BTW Volcanoe 7+
