I have a GTX280 I wanted to use for GPUgrid. I plan on running it on another computer with one the 280 in it but I don't have an 8pin pci-e power connector for that psu yet. I tried running the 280 in my main rig as a secondary gpu and figured it could crunch for a few days in here but I can't get Boinc to see the GPU.
My main GPU is an ATI 5870 which is crunching away fine on mw@home. I have installed the latest drivers from nivdia's site. I tried creating an xml file that reads like so:
<cc_config>
<options>
<use_all_gpus>1</use_all_gpus>
</options>
</cc_config>
Still no luck, Boinc does not see the 280, but it is working in my system. Anyone have any insight in mixing GPU's like this and making them work on separate projects? (or work at all?)
