SLI these cards?

1x 9800GTX

if i wanted to add 9800gx2 could i sli them? or would i have to get 2x 9800gtx? :shrug:

I personally dont know, i wouldnt think so due to the fact that the 2 9800's are sli'd together to make a single card. but i will stay tuned to see the actual answer :D

oh i know, im not critisizing you or your board.

its a personal thought, because the 9800 is a single gpu, and the 9800gx2 is technically 2 single gpu's that have been sli'd in order to be recognized as one card... even though they are 2 physical cards it should register as just one single 9800gx2.

So personally i dont think it will work. but im USUALLY wrong :D, i wish you luck though, this would be interesting to see, and hopefully works! :up:

umm so what about running 2x gtx 260 such with 1x 9800gtx

I may be wrong, but I don't think you need SLI to crunch, or do you?
