It looks like that's made for 3/8 id 5/8 od (correct me if I'm wrong).

So, no... won't work. Ever.

Can someone tell me 100% what the correct tubing is? So that I can purchase the correct tubing :) Thanks

ButtSprinkles is correct. I is in fact made for 3/8 id 5/8 od tubing. You should be able to find that in most places. 1/2" and 7/16" ID with a 5/8 OD are simply too thick for the compression nut to seat.

What would you all recommend for 3/8 5/8? I need black if possible or blue.

I would recommend Primochill tubing. Again you can find it almost everywhere now. Check performance-pcs as a good start. The have black and blue in that size. ^_^

ek should have said,

STRICTLY these sizes of tubes only
For tubes:
- ID 12mm; OD 16mm
- ID 11,1mm; OD 15,9mm
- ID 15/32"; OD 5/8"

12/16 tubes are only available at aquatuning...

ii don't know who retails those tube sizes here in north america...

I think the only consumer grade tubing you can really find in the states that should fit, will be 3/8 ID 5/8 OD. It would be abit of a squeeze on the barb itself, but the compression nut should close just fine. In fact you may need to heat the end of the tube in hot water to make it fit on the barb, but that should work. Good luck.

OK, everyone take a slow deep breath and calm down. I guess ppl don't know how to convert metric to inches. ;) :p:

Technically, you have the right stuff Kenjiwing. There are quite a number of things that may be causing the problem, some of which may be fitting not properly machined, tubing wall too thick, or tubing I.D. too small. Those 3 I mentioned would be the front runners. It could also be a combo of them.

Have you tried to install the tubing on other fittings. . .while they're on a block? Sometimes it can be very hard to install tubing and compression nuts when they're not mounted to something bigger.

Well using your block trick.. I was able to get one on... trying to get another now.. this is going to suck for 16 fittings.

Got two in.. not able to check and see if they're leak proof but I seem to have a way to get these on.. hard as :banana::banana::banana: btw.

Have you tried unscrewing the compressions and check if it tears the tubing?
