I currently have 2x GTX295's and I want to add a dedicated card for physx, what would be a good card? Is there any real difference in which card you use in physx performance?

I like using 9800s for dedicated PhysX, have used GTX260s as well.
There is a difference in performance if you get down to the 32 and 64 SP cards, a 9600GT is as low as I'd consider going.
The 9800GT Eco Editions make nice Physx card, don't need any power beyond the slot.

a physX card wouldent change anything if u have 2x295 if u want better performance u could move to 2 or 4 58xx cards and thats about it, but for physX i like the 9800eco

with your 2 296's its not worth it... i have 1 295 and i decided against it, theres only maybe a dozen frame increase... and thats beyond 100fps... its really not worth it for you. save your money.

Well, I guess I like overkill, plus I am waiting to see what nvidia has up their sleeve before i decided on 5970's or whatever they have coming.....I like a bit of overkill...Whats so good about the ECO 9800Gt from Zotac?

Sorry to disagree, but dedicated PhysX makes a HUGE difference with a GTX295.
My buddy Keysplayr at AnandTech did a really nice analysis of this:

As you can see, once you get above the 8600GT, framerates get a big boost. (and going up to the GTX280 made no difference)
I run 9800s on my GTX295 rigs. (don't have anything lower)

It's just a check box in the NVIDIA CP, on the multiple cards menu item. (where you set Sli config, etc)
